How to Earn Passive Income Online, Work Once, and Get Paid For Life.

Welcome to NetPassiveIncome, my personally blog where I talk
everything and anything about building a passive income business on the
internet.

Just a quick background on who I am and why you should listen to me
about generating passive income on the internet.

I have a background in electrical and computer engineering but I also
love money (yeah, who doesn't!). But soon I realized that I'm in the
wrong business! I've been working my butt off for a decent salary, but
I'm only getting a 1-for-1 trade with my time for money.

In other words, I work, I get paid. If I don't work, I don't get
paid. There is gotta be something better - that's when I looked into
starting a business or investing in something that will generate
passive income... even when I am not working.

I would much rather be a music artist or a real estate investor and
just work once, and get paid residual income. However, I know very
well that I can't sing for crap and real estate investing requires too
much capital up front that I don't have.

Then I turned to the internet and started studying what other people
are doing to make money online. For a period of time, get
paid-to-click scheme was really hot, then selling on eBay was the next
trend, then making junk sites for Google Adsense was all the rave...
the next best thing just went on and on.

I keep feeling like I have missed the train, that I'm just not smart
enough nor have the energy like those young
straight-out-of-high-school-kids-doing-it-big-on-the-internet. I kept
chasing the next best thing on the internet.

What is NetPassiveIncome Blog?

Then it dawned on me... I don't want to be an opportunist (takes too
much time and needs to be on the constant lookout for opportunities), I
just want to do something that provides value to other people and if it
makes money while I'm at it, all the best!

In 2006 I developed a new aquairum guide information product where I
teach other people how to set up a new fish tank. It is a digital
downloadable product so my profit margin is 100%, customers get my
product almost instantly after making their purchase, and I don't have
to worry about inventory control.

The best part is that all the sales are passive - from the point of
getting people to my website, to accepting orders and delivering the
product - the entire process is on auto-pilot.

Since that first information product, I rolled out more and more
products - each time adding more to my residual income.

Therefore, this blog is born - I am here to share with you exactly what
I do to build passive income online and how I do it.

Why Should I Read Your Blog?

At minimum, I want you to learn from what I do, how I do it, and most
importantly how YOU can build your own passive income online as well.

As I work on new projects, I will be keeping a log of all progress and
development on this blog. If you happen to be an expert in a subject
matter I am not, then there is a good opportunity for us to work
together and develop your first information product (Did you know
something as simple as an interview is considered a product and can be
sold?).

As a side note - majority of people who come to my blog got here
because they searched for "passive income" in the Google search
engine. Have you ever wonder how I got my blog into the 1st page of
Google search results (it sure wasn't coincidence) and how you can get
your webpage or blog in the top 10 results as well?
